Prerequisite

Successful completion of the Gyrotonic Level 1 Pre-Training Course.

Purpose

To provide an in-depth understanding of the Gyrotonic Level 1 curriculum and the specific skills and techniques needed to teach these exercises to clients. During this course, a Gyrotonic Master Trainer reviews the principles underlying the Gyrotonic Level 1 exercises (as learned in the Pre-Training) and introduces the complete Gyrotonic, Level 1 curriculum.

Upon successful completion

Once students successfully complete the Gyrotonic Level 1 Foundation Course, they are considered a Gyrotonic Apprentice. At this stage their Apprenticeship period begins and they can begin teaching. The apprenticeship license is valid for 1 year. During this one year period, students will finish the practice teaching hours, Gyrotonic Level 1 Apprenticeshp Review Course, and the Gyrotonic Final Certificate Course. Students must spend a minimum of six months in personal and teaching practice before they are eligible to attend the final certificate course.
